Goya : Disasters of War

I dreamt last night that I was to watch 6 videos about the artist Goya. I woke up remembering the name, but not able to place the artist. So I looked him up and connected it to the work of Jake and Dinos Chapman.

But the weird thing is that tonight I was watching the Terry Zwigoff documentary of Crumb, and there was a Goya reference in it. I find that just a wee bit odd, an artist I’ve never even spent more than a moments thought on, is suddenly all over the place? In the same day? I’ve been looking at the work to try and figure out if it means anything. I dunno, pretty bizarro.

Andy, Men in Kilts

I spent some time last night taking photos of Andy’s band, Men In Kilts. Their exsisting promo photos are like 2 years old and are very outdated. I really like this one of Andy. I have more posted on Flickr. I was using a Canon EOS 20D, and 1 light. I really like that camera. I’ve had some trouble using it before in low light situations, but my single light last night really helped. I think the guys will be happy with what I did, as long as they get at least 1 good shot.
